Happening now… An active shooter, who begin firing on Police and civilians at approximately 12:30 p.m., remains barricaded inside a Planned Parenthood Office and continues to exchange gunshots with Colorado Springs, Colorado Police. As of 5:00 p.m., five Police Officers and six civilians have been shot and transported to local hospitals. The situation is on-going at this time. Updated @ 5:15 p.m.: Police press conference information said the situation

is still on-going and that the suspect possibly brought explosive devices with him to the building. The suspect has not been identified and continues to fire upon Police. It is unknown how many hostages are inside the building with the gunman.

Updated @ 6:00 p.m.: Fox News is reporting that the "suspect is in custody". No further details released by the Police.

Officials have confirmed that one Police Officer and two civilians were killed and nine others shot, including five Police Officers, during the shooting spree at an abortion clinic in Colorado Springs. The lone gunman was taken into custody and appeared to be uninjured. More details will be released by Officials at a press conference early Saturday morning.

(Oh, this should make every American feel better; “they” said that Obama had been briefed on the situation. It would have probably done more good if “they” had briefed ‘Charlie Brown and the Peanut Gang’… )
