HOUSTON COUNTY:   Houston County Sheriff 911 Center  has dispatched Wicksburg Volunteer Fire to 405 Windmill Road at Wicksburg Road to a garbage truck which has possibly picked up some hazardous materials. Reports are smoke is coming from the rear of the garbage.

Houston County has mutual aid requested Dothan Fire to respond to the scene. Dothan Fire Engine 8 ( Highlands ) and Dothan Fire Batallion Chief Danny Applin are responding to the scene. Dothan - Houston County Emergency Management Director Clark Matthews is also responding to the scene.

As more information is available we will update.

When Wicksburg Fire arrived they cancelled Dothan Fire from responding to the scene.
