DOTHAN:    Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Units are in the 500 block of Fourth Avenue. Multiple law enforcement units are on the scene.

Reports are there is an open door and blood on the floor that is in view. Houston County Sheriff K-9 units are on the scene and the K-9is about to deployed into the residence in an effort to check if someone is inside.

Dothan Police have requested Dothan Fire respond, non emergency, and stand by as the K-9 is deployed. No patient has been located prior to K-9 being deployed.

It is unknown what has led law enforcement to this address at this time.

Law Enforcement have cleared the residence. Dothan Police Patrol Shift Commander Lt. Scott Heath has called for a Criminal Investigator. It is uknown what law enforcement has at this time.

This is a burglary of a residence. No person has been found. Dothan and Houston County are on the look out inthe area for a suspect.

Dothan Police Criminal Investigator Sgt.Jason Adkins is on the scene. Dothan Polcie Crime Scene Investigator Jon Thomas is also on the scene.
