Crenshaw County, AL: We are getting multiple reports that an incident took place this morning at Brantley High School. We do not know what kind of incident, but we do know from a reliable source that the school is on a "soft lockdown". There are approximately 10 law enforcement officers on the scene at Brantley High School. It is reported there will be an officer on scene until the children go home. We will update.


 


UPDATED: WAAO is reporting that the situation is reported to have been a robbery. An unidentified man robbed a Luverne Pepsi Company Employee this morning at the school. Reports are Brantley Police are still looking for the suspect. The school will remain under a soft lockdown until school lets out.


 


UPDATED @ 1:20: WAAO is reporting that the suspect is still at large and is described as 6 foot tall, stocky build, tan hoodie, black bandana around head and mouth area, prescription eyeglasses, 35-39 years of age, and blue jeans. The suspect is reported to have gotten away with approximately $6.00 and armed with a black revolver pistol.
