HENRY COUNTY:  The Henry County Courthouse will close at 1 PM today. All office will be closed, except the Henry County Sheriff Department will remain open and on duty. The doors to the courthouse will be locked but you can call the Sheriff Department, 334-585-3131 for assistance.

You know, even though the deputies did not get their $ 200 Christmas bonus the Sheriff was paying because of bureaucrats, the deputies will remain on duty ready to serve and protect. The condition their cars are in, they might have to walk to get to you but they will be there!

So if you see a deputy running along side of the road in the rain, stop and give him a ride!

The Courthouse will remain open. Only the Circuit Clerk's Office and Court will be closed. Probate Office and Revenue Commissioner Office will remain open along with the Sheriff Department.
