Please remember all involved in your prayers. While I was not on the scene I have seen the pictures from the scene and spoke to emergency responders. This was a horrible accident.

Also please keep all of the law enforcement, EMS, 911 Dispatchers, Deputy Coroner, nurses and doctors in your prayers. It is always bad when adults are involved but when children are involved it is even worse.

We do not know who knows what at this time. Please remember the Deputy Coroner and Law Enforcement as they break the tragic news to family members. I have walked in their shows and this is not an easy message to deliver and impossible to soften it up. All you can do is be compassionate and kind, however the message is horrible news.

Dale County Deputy Coroner Frankie Wilson has confirmed the next of kin has been notified.

Deputy Coroner Wilson has identified the two fatalities as both drivers of each vehicle. The victims have been identified as;

53 year old white male Timothy Dean Stafford of Abbeville.

26 year old white female Alana Marie Wuolukka of Lizella Georgia.

Three passengers are reported to have been in the Wuolukka. One child has been transferred to Birmingham Alabama. All three persons in the Wuolukka vehicle are reported to be in critical condition.

Alabama State Troopers are in charge of the investigation. No exact cause has been given, UNOFFICIALLY it appears one vehicle crossed the center line into the path of another.

Alabama Highway 27 from Ozark to Enterprise has a lot of curves and some areas where there is no where to go if required to leave the scene.
