UPDATED @ 12:48 AM BREAKING NEWS: Structure Fire On Ginnalou Drive Subjects Trapped Inside

DOTHAN:  Dothan 911 dispatched multiple Dothan Fire and Police to Ginnalou Drive to a structure fire with people trapped inside. 

The house is reported to be fully engulfed. Reports are patients out, three ambulances have been called to the scene.

On the arrival of the first units they thought they might have also had a shooting which had officers scrambling. It turned to only be a fire however multiple injuries. It was determined no shooting. 

Matt Boster is on the scene and reports a major fire.

The first unit has left the scene emergency transport to Flowers Hospital with victims from the fire. A person who lives close by reports before fire units arrived flames were shooting from the roof of the residence.

UPDATE @ 12:09 AM

There has been a total of three persons transported emergency in critical condition to Flowers Hospital. Initial scene reports are two persons, children, have been removed from he residence. Both of the children are deceased.

Both CARE and Pilcher's Ambulance responded to the scene and transported patients. Dothan Fire Engine 6 ( Napier Field Road ), Engine 8 ( Highlands ), Engine 3 (Westgate ) and Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) have al responded. Dothan Fire Chief Larry Williams is on the scene and Batallion Chief-Fire Marshall Chris Ethereidge. An additional Fire Marshall has responded to the scene. Dothan Criminal Iinvestigators have been called along with Dothan Crime Scene Investigator John Thomas.

Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd has been called to the scene.

Dothan Utilities responded to the scene to cut the power tot he residence. Dothan Animal Control responded to take possession of animals on the scene. The fire was under the command of Batallion Chief Davd Hasty and Training Chief Pete Webb.
