Dothan Fire and Dothan Police are on scene of a wreck with entrapment in the 1000 blk of the Circle. Multiple people are reported injured.  Both South bound lanes where the wreck is located is closed until all can be cleaned up. Dothan Police Traffic Division is handling the investigation into the cause of the crash.

A vehicle pulled from a business on the northside of Ross Clark Circle into the path of another vehicle which was traveling on Ross Clark Circle. After impact the vehicles crossed the median into the southbound side of Ross Clark Circle.

 

When the first Dothan Fire Engine arrived on the scene they reported entrappment in the overturned vehicle. Dothan Fire began extrication of the entrapped patient along with Pilcher's Ambulance Service Medics.

 

When the patient was extricated Dothan Fire Command called SAMC and notified them of a "trauma alert" patient due to the mechanism of injury. The patient was transported from the scene to SAMC.

 

In the passenger car two patients, to include a child  in early teens or a little younger, was transported by Pilcher's Ambulance Service to SAMC.

 

None of the injuries appear to be life threatening.

 

Dothan Police had to turn the northside of Ross Clark Circle into a two lane because the accident completely closed the southbound sides for a period of time.
