COFFEE COUNTY:  A manhunt is on going in Coffee County South - Southwest of the airport for a person which has walked off from Elba Work Release.

The search is for a black male dressed in blue jeans and blue jean jacket. The subject is NOT considered armed and dangerous.

Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton, members of the Coffee County Sheriff Department and Elba Police Department are searching for the suspect. The search dogs from Ventress Prison are responding. The Coffee County Sheriff Helicopter is flying overhead in the search.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Coffee County Sheriff Department.

UPDATED @ 2:50 PM

Coffee County Sheriff Dave Sutton has reported at 2:19 PM that the subject is in custody. The K-9 track dogs from Ventress tracked the suspect down. He is now in custody.
