DOTHAN:   Dothan Communications Center has dispatched emergency units to Vermont Court off Hartford Highway to reports of an edged weapon assault.

After units were responding communications updated a female cut herself, accidentally, and it is a serious cut. The female is home alone.

Dothan Fire engine 2 ( Lakewood ), Pilcher's Ambulance and Police are responding.

If turns out different will update.

UPDATED @ 3:21 PM

Dothan Fire Engine 2 has cancelled Pilcher's Ambulance response so the injury must not have been as bad as first reported.
