UPDATED @ 3:24 PM BREAKING NEWS: Robbery Of Persons - Chase Down Of Suspect Vehicle

DOTHAN: Miinutes ago Dothan Police Communications Center dispatched the Armed Robbery Of Persons at East Main and Ross Clark Circle. It was changed immediately to West Main Street and Ross Clark Circle.
A suspect vehicle description was gotten from the caller by Dothan Police Communications and broadcast to all responding units. Both Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies responded.
The caller to the communications center was able to keep Dothan Police Communications updated on the suspect vehicle location. The vehicle was reported to be a white Crown Victoria that was west bound on West Main Street. The location was updated to Honeysuckle Road traveling towards Fortner Street. The vehicle location was then updated to Honeysuckle Cove at the deadend. The vehilce location was then updated to Fortner Street and onto Honesuckle traveling towards Hartford Highway.
Dothan Police Commuications reported the suspect vehicle had three black males all reported to be armed.
Dothan Police intercepted the suspect vehicle on Honeysuckle Road traveling towards Hartford Highway. The officer waited on backup ( proper/safe procedure ). As the vehicle turned on Hartford Highway a felony traffic stop was engaged with Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies. The suspect vehicle stopped in the Dollar General parking lot.
Law Enforcement took all three suspects into custody pending investigation. Some officers also returned to Honeysuckle Cove looking for evidence.
Listening to this call - what a GREAT and OUTSTANDING job on behalf of Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Communications Centers. The 911 Operator did agreat job in getting the proper information from the caller and the dispatchers of both departments did a great job in swift brodcast of that information.
And the law enforcement officers of both departments responded swift and safe, locating the suspect, maing sure adequate officers were in place and took the suspects into custody without incident.

The vehicle has a Florida license plate. Criminal Investigators have been called to the scene. Two firearms were also recovered.
