When Dothan Fire arrived the residence was fully engulfed. Dothan Fire did a defensive attack only on the fire.
A off duty Dothan Police Officer was first on the scene making sure no one was inside the residence. Neighbors reported the home owners had been out of town for several days.
Dothan Utilities were called to the scene to cut power. Dothan Fire used the deck guns on the ladder truck to spray water on the fire.
The scene was under the command of Batallion a Chief Greg Hutcheson.
Pictures are being held until residents are notified.

Dothan Fire has made contact with homeowners.
