HOUSTON COUNTY: 9:50 AM. Houston County Sheriff Department is on the scene of Gordon Boat Landing where a body was found floating in the river.
Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza and members of the Criminal Investigation team is on the scene. Early County Sheriff Department is also in the scene
Not a lot of details are known at this time. Matt Boster is on the scene for RSN.

We do know the identity but have been asked by the family NOT to release it until they can make notification of all family members. So we are honoring their wishes.

The victim has been identified as 77 year old Gerald Love of Dothan.
