Tornado activity in the cottonwood area for the next 20 minutes and headed north.


The 7000 block and 8000 block of Cottonwood Road are reported under water.

Cottonwood Fire responding to Buntin Road and Otter Pond to put up barricades. The roads  are washed out.

Areas of Dothan electricity out. Allen Road, Trawick Road and other areas. Dothan Utilities are working to restore power. 


In fact I have no power and using Airpad to post In the dark.

Bill Yance Road and Highway 52 road under water due to ditch overflowing per Columbia Police Chief.

Emergency crews rolling to motor vehicle accident 8250 Cottonwood Road in LOVETOWN at mile marker 12. Vehicle in ditch on southbound side. Injuries unknown. LOVETOWN VFD and Houston County Deouties rolling.

On DHodge road at Cottonwood, Houston County a Deputies have called for barricades. Tree across road and road under water.


In reference to wreck, LOVETOWN fireman on scene. He reports found one vehicle and unable to find any occupants at this time

 No more updates from EMA or NWS in reference to tornado warning so I assume cancelled at 3 AM.

Hodgesville VFD called to respond to Dhidge Road and St. Mary Road in reference to a tree across the road and barricades needed for water.

Dothan Police rolling to John D. Odom Road or Murphy Mill Road. A tree across the road and caller was unsure if John D. odom or Murphy Mill Road.

Motor vehicle accident reported, 6400 block of J.B. Chapman Road. Vehicle overturned but all occupants out. Patient complains of head injuries and disoriented.


Dothan Fire reports heavy damage to vehicle.

Dale County Fire units mutual aid assistance on Hwy.27 to another county I'm reference to a structure fire fully involved. Did not catch location or county but Dale County units rolling to other county to assist. In Echo mutual aid response area.
