34 Central has just dispatched Samson Volunteer Fire Department, Samson Volunteer Rescue Squad, and Samson Police Department to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street. Reports are the wreck involves 3 vehicles. It is reported that there are minor injuries. Samson Police Officers are now on scene. The roadway where the accident is located is blocked at this time. Samson Fire and Samson Rescue are now on scene.

UPDATE: The accident location is on Main Street in front of the Auto Parts store near Brooks Peanut.

UPDATED @ 4:20: Samson Emergency units are on the scene of the accident at this time. Reports are there are 3 patients at the scene that are injured. 34 Central just came over the radio and asked if there was a unit to handle a second medical call. Before the accident, 34 Central had dispatched Samson Rescue to an overdose. Samson Volunteer Rescue Squad only has 3 ambulances. Samson Rescue has one unit enroute to the hospital with the overdose patient. The other two ambulances are at the scene of the crash preparing to transport. 34 Central was advised to roll the call to another Resceu Agency because Samson cannot handle the call at this time.

Updated @ 4:55: It is reported that there were only two vehicles in the wreck. It is also reported that one of the victims of the wreck was family of the overdose call. It is reported that he was trying to get to that family member when the crash ocurred.
