DOTHAN:   Even with the Friday press conference from Dothan School Board Attorney's Jere Segrest and Kevin Walding - there still seems to be a fowl odor in this issue.

For the record - GREAT respect for Jere Segrest and Kevin Walding. Nothing in this article is meant to reflect anything on the part of the attorneys.

QUESTIONS:

(1)   Has any member of the Dothan School Board seen or read any of the investigative material so far?

RESPONSE:   The members of the Dothan School Board serve as the "jury" in the matter. They are to enter with no pre-concieved ideas and great strides are to be taken to shield all board members from knowing any of the evidence of the case. Therefore all parties get a fair hearing.

(2) Has Attorney Jere Segrest or Kevin Walding represented any of the parties in this case before? The husband of the alleged victim, or any parties. If so, does the Alabama Bar reflect any appearance of a conflict?

RESPONSE:   The question was asked in Friday's press conference but never really answered.

(3) What Pastors have reviewed any or all of the evidence and who has shown the evidence to them? And if any Pastors have seen the evidence, who are they and how are the Pastors associated to ANY parties in this case.

(4) As we understand sworn statements have been prepared by witnesses and notarized by staff of the Attorney. Has any of the sworn statements been revised since the first ones were prepared? If so, where are the first ones and what changes were made.

(5) If any telephone messages or graphic pictures are to be introduced into evidence, is there any "proof" as to the sender. Today, "spoof" calls are easliy made. So will there be "proof" as to the authenticity of the messages, or is the board and public to take the word for it?

(6) Name the disagreements and what the disagreements were with the School Superintendent, Board Members and Legal Counsel prior to this incident. Provide details of those disagreements.

EXPLANATION

The City of Dothan Board of Education has undergone petty and chidish actions on the part of the members of the Dothan School Board and Superintendent. The citizens have paid out 6 figures (that means hundereds of thousands of dollars), only because those elected were kids and wanted the superintendent gone.

History reflects the board has, in this past, had their agenda and not that of the public.

I am not a personal friend of Tim Wilder's. Do not know where he lives and have not talked with him since before the actions of the Dothan Board of Education.

Since a prior School Board, they got me where I hate to attend school board meetings. Watching paint dry, well that is a lot more entertaining and information is better.

However, from all reports from staff and persons within the system, Tim Wilder has been doing a good job.

But I smell a potential rat in the house in this incident. NOT SAYING there is one for sure, but the fowl odor exists.

NOTE:   If any member of the Dothan School Board has reviewed the evidence, they must recuse themselves from this hearing. And if any Pastors have been told anything by anyone other than a victim, that Pastor should be put on the stand.

Note on a Pastor seeing material. That is nothing to show disrespect to the Pastor. It is that someone within the school Board system who is to act as independent trier of facts, or someone in this issue has possibly shown the material to a pastor.
