UPDATED @ 5:49 PM Overturned Vehicle On Highway 84 West

HOUSTON COUNTY:  At 12:44 AM Houston County Sheriff 911 center dispatched Bay Springs Volunteer Fire, Wicksburg Volunteer Rescue and Houston County Sheriff Deputy Ricky Herring to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street in front of Sntique Mall. Reports to the Sheriff 911 Center was one vehicle, overturned with patient with decreased level of consciousness. 

Wicksburg Rescue requested Dothan Fire Engine 8 ( Highlands ) to respond because they were closer.

Deputy Herring arrived as Dothan Fire arrived. The patient, a white male by himself, had to be extricated from the wreckage by Dothan Fire. The patient was transported by Wicksburh Rescue to a local hospital. CARE Ambulance also responded to the scene but Wicksburg Rescue transported.

In addition to Deputy Herring Alabams State Trooper Nelms investigated the accident.
