UPDATED @ 5:56 PM
The preliminary information was a child was struck. THAT INFORMATION IS INCORRECT but was the first information relayed.
We have learned from Alabama State Trooper PIO Kevin Cook a 28 year old female opened the door and fell from a moving vehicle. The female is in critical condition and has been transported by FLATIRON to SAMC in Dothan.
The female was not struck by a vehicle but fell from a moving vehicle.
