GENEVA COUNTY:  Alabama State Troopers and Geneva County Sheriff Deputies have been in a vehicle chase that left Alabama and entered into Florida and back into Alabama.

At this time the vehicle has stopped but the suspect has fled on foot.

We do not know why the person is running. Remember, it is not the person  under the blue lights that initiate a chase, it is the person in front of the blue lights that initiate a chase.

As more information is available we will update.

Information is the chase is in the area of Alabama Highway 167 and County Road 4.

All additional units have been cancelled. Law Enforcement information is someone has called and said they are bringing the subject in.

The chase was on going and they forgot to notify Geneva County they were in a chase in Geneva County.
