HOUSTON COUNTY: At 8:33 PM Houston County 911 dispatched emergency units to 19605 Cottonwood Road near County 81 to a serious - critical motor vehicle accident. Reports possibly three vehicles involved.
Cottonwood Rescue has just left the sceen transporting one patient under trauma alert.

There was one patient transported from thr scene to a Dothan hospital thatw as a trauma alert. There is a fatality on the scene.
One ALabama State Trooper was responding from Eufaula and one from Dale County. No Houston County Troopers are on duty.
Reports are a single vehicle.
Houston County Corner Robert Byrd is responding.

The person killed has been identified as 44 year old Bruce Wayne Simms of Gordon Alabama.
