DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire Engines are responding to Summertree Apartments on Fortner Street in reference to reports of a structure fire. Reports are smoke from the electrical outlets. The power has been cut at the switch box and residents instructed to evacuate.
Dothan Fire Engine 1 (Central ) was first on the scene with Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) the second fire engine to arrive on the scene. Truck 3 was third engine on the scene and Engine 4 ( Southside ) was the fourth engine on the scene.
The police officer that was first on the scene reported no flames visible. Engine 1 instructed the other fire engines to remain at the fir hyrdrant and ready to hook to water supply and bring fire hose inside if needed.
Dothan Fire Engine 1 is inside the apartment checking for fire at this time.

Dothan Fire Engine 1 has reported they have narrowed the probem down to the air conditioner unit. The fireman are removing the inspection plate at this time checking for the problem. No fire as to flames reported at this time.

All fire engines have returned to service. No fire at this location only issues with air conditioner unit.
