COVINGTON COUNTY:    Covington County Sheriff Deputies are on the scene of a shooting in Covington County. Reports are one subject has been shot.

Officers have just arrived on the scene. Subject is conscious and talking.

As more information is available we will update.

 

UPDATED: The shooting took place near Hart's Country store at a mobile home that was reportedly just placed in the area a short time ago. WAAO is reporting that the Covington County Sheriff's Office is looking for an individual that left the scene. A picture below is the man Covington County Sheriff's Office is looking for. Picture is from WAAO also. Here is what WAAO is reporting on their Facebook:

WANTED- Arthur Lucal, Jr. White male 135-140lbs. 49 yrs. old. Wanted in connection with a shooting on Antioch Rd. across from Hart's Country Store. Left walking on foot wearing blue jeans and white shirt. Please dial 911 if any contact. He is possibly armed.#WAAO
