UPDATED @ 8:08 AM: Breaking News: Samson Food Depot On Fire

SAMSON:  During the night fireman from Samson Volunteer Fire, Flat Creek Volunteer Fire, Geneva Volunteer Fire and Enterprise battled a structure fire of one of the two grocery stores in Samson.

Samson Volunteer fireman responded to Samson Food Depot around 2:30 AM this morning. Samson Fire called for mutual aid assistance from Flat Creek Volunteer Fire, Geneva Fire and Enterprise Fire. Enterprise rolled their cascade system to Samson to assist in fighting the fire.

We will have more information on the fire later today.

 

UPDATE: The fire is out and all units are back in service. I can not give you any times on who was where and everything like that. The fire was contained to one section of the building.

Some agencies that responded: Samson Volunteer Fire Department, Flat Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Geneva Volunteer Fire Department, Samson Volunteer Rescue Squad, Enterprise Fire Department, and Samson Police Department.
