ENTERPRISE:    8:16 AM  Enterprise Police are on the scene of Highway 167 North of a murder. It is reported to be domestic related.

We are working to confirm UNCONFIRMED AT THIS TIME the case is a murder- suicide.

Enterprise Police have Highway 167 North that runs from Enterprise to Troy closed at this time.

Today, at approximately 6:30 AM, an EPD Patrol Officer was flagged down by motorists near the intersection of Hwy 167N and Boll Weevil Circle to report gunshots heard in the area.  Arriving Officers discovered two individuals, both with apparent gunshot wounds.  The victim was transported to Medical Center Enterprise, and was later pronounced deceased.  The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The investigation, being conducted by the EPD Criminal Investigations Division, indicates that both individuals were travelling together in a vehicle on Hwy 167N..  The initial investigation indicates that the suspect shot the victim, then turned the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide.

This is an active investigation and no further information will be released at this time.

The victims have been identified in the Enterprise murder - suicide. They have been described as husband and wife.

Miriam Gonzalez, 47, and Jose Rivermoralez, 43.

It is reported that Gonzalez was shot multiple times and Rivermoralez was shot once. It is believed that Rivermoralez was the shooter of Gonzalez and then turned the gun on himself.
