DOTHAN:   8:17 PM. Dothan 911 has rolled Dothan Fire to Deer Run Trailer Park to a reported structure fire. The occupant refuses to evacuate, states fire from heater. Then the caller screams and Dothan 911 lost contact with her.


Dispatched at 8:14, Dothan Fire Engine 6, Napier Field Road, arrives at 8:19 PM. The fire engine reports  light smoke visible on arrival.


8:20 PM  DOTHAN fire Engine 6 instructs fire units to stage at fire hydrant and not lay a fire hose line in. Engine 6 believes confined in the heater. 


8:23 PM. Dothan Fire Engine 6 reports no fire and has instructed all fire engines to return to service...Dothan Fire Engine 9 ( Technology Drive ), Engine 3 ( Westgate ), Truck 3 ( Westgate ), Pilcher's Medic 6, and Batallion Chief. Why so many responding? You roll equipment on the information presented to the 911 Dispatcher. Then if less on arrival you cancell
