UPDATED By Marty: All fire units are back in service at this time. I will have all details coming soon.

UPDATED @ 8:40: Enterprise Communications dispatched New Brockton Fire to a report of a large brush fire at 9777 Alabama State Highway 51. Upon arrival, New Brokcton Fire immediately dispatched Goodman Volunteer Fire, Tri-Com Volunteer Fire, Battens Volunteer Fire, and Enterprise Fire Department for mutual aid assistance. The call was dispatched at 3:35 this afternoon. It is reported 100 acres burned in the fire. New Brokcton Fire was fearing local homes that were in danger when they arrived, that is why they dispatched several departments.

NOTE: I was in Enterprise enroute to the call and saw Battens Brush Truck behind a School Bus. The School Bus never moved over for the Emergency Vehicle. Just remember, all vehicles yield to an Emergency Vehicle. School Buses are required to move over to let the Emergency Vehicle pass just like any other vehicle. Also thanks to a Coffee County Deputy who was in traffic and blocked traffic. The Deputy looked in his mirror and noticed the fire truck coming his way. The Deputy turned his Emergency Lights on and immediately moved all traffic out of the way where the fire truck could get through the intersection. Thanks Deputy!
