HENRY COUNTY - ABBEVILLE:   The Henry County E911 Coordinator, Chad Sowell, has reported the the Henry County/Abbeville/Headland 911 lines are out of service. All 911 calls are routed to Dothan and Houston County and are being answered by Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff. All emergencies are being handled.


The administrative lines at Abbeville Police Department are out of service. For non emergency matters call Headland Police Department. The number is 334-693-2222.


The issue has been reported to the telephone company. It is being worked on. It is believed that a line has been cut somewhere.


Again, if you dial 911 the calls are being handled.

Chad Sowell has notified that Henry County/Headland/Abbeville 911 is back up and running. The Abbeville a Police administrative lines are back in service.
