DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a kitchen fire Cherry Blossom Lot-D 512. The first unit on scene advised nothing visible. Battalion 2 has command. Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. Engine 4 advised the fire is out it was just a pot on the stove.

Cooking a blooming onion caused a fire on the stove.
When Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) and Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) arrived the fire was out for the most part. Dothan Fire set up ventilation of the residence.
Pilcher Ambulance also responded making sure all were ok.
