DOTHAN:   Dothan Police chase out Highway 84 East and traveling North on Broad Street in Cowarts. The vehicle turned east on railroad.


At 9:05 PM Houston County and Kinsey has joined the chase.


The chase is east bound of Jordan passing Bluff Springs Road at 9:06 PM


UPDATED @ 9:07


Vehicle turned right on Enon Road. Deputy Small about to pit vehicle.


At 9:07 vehicle turned right on Bluff Springs about 55 MPH.


At 9:08 PM vehicle approaches Jordan Avenue.


Deputy Small attempts pit on Jordan and Bluff Springs. deputy Small successful in wrecking suspect.

Law Enforcement chased ended at Windy Court in Cowarts. The chase started on East Main in Fothan. The vehicle traveled east on Main Street into Cowarts.


As the chase traveled east on Main the suspect threw objects from the vehicle as it passed People's Bank. Dothan units are looking for evidence.


The vehicle traveled east on Main into Cowarts, passed Broad Street, then did a U turn back west on Highway 84.


As the suspect vehicle got to Broad Street in Cowarts, the suspect turned north, crossing the railroad and turned right on Railroad Avenue.


The suspect traveled to Jordan Avenue, then turned east towards Ashford. that is when Kinsey Police intercepted assisting in the chase.


The suspect traveled east on Jordan and reached Enon Church Road and turned south. at ta point Houston County Sheriff Vice Deputy Phillip Smal intercepted. Agencies backed off letting Deputy Small take the lead of the chase.


The suspect vehicle traveled south on Enon to Bluff Springs Road and then turned right.Deputy Small was getting in position to pit the suspect, which means ram the suspect off the road to end the chase.


When the suspect vehicle ached Windy Court and Jordan Avenue, Deputy Small pitted the vehicle while Kinsey Police Officer Ryan Brunson was calling the chase. Calling the hasd means on the radio keeping dispatch and other units informed of the chase.


Dothan has a policy to not pit vehicles. But watch out, when the Sheriff a Department intercepts, if all possible and safe conditions to the public, the Sheriff Department is going to whip your buttocks off the road.


There were no injuries and suspect apprehended but has a tore up vehicle.
