LAFAYETTE LOUISIANNA: In Lafayette Louisianna at 9:26 PM, a gunman earlier opened fire in a movie theater.
During the movie a gunman is reported to have shot down in the movie theafter. At least two persons are dead, possibly more. Among the dead is the gunman. Reports are the gunman committed suicide.
More than 20 police cars are on the scene.
The theater is called The Grand 16 Theater. The call came in about 7:30 PM.
The movie was called The Train Wreck.
Reports are at least 8 people transported, some are critical.
The Governor of Louisianna responded to the scene.

It is been updated in Lafayette Louisiana that at least three people are dead to include the gunman.
Authorities at this time are saying the lone white male gunman acted alone.

Lafayette Louisiana police are now saying the gunman was 58 years old.

Law-enforcement have identified the shooter but have not released his name at this time.
Louisiana Governor Jindal said the public can pray for the victims in law enforcement. The governor said shower them with your love. Governor Jindal said it is time for America to come together.
