HOUSTON COUNTY: As you recall for the past week the Houston County Sheriff's office and Taylor Police have been working on catching the vandals that sray painted two churches, a daycare, the Rec park in taylor and several other location. Early this morning investigatiors with the Houston County Shriff's Office make three arrest in this case. We understand that two juveniles and one adult for vamdalizing all these location and costing alot to clean up the mess they made.


Sheriff Hughes will most likley hold a press conference later today with more details..

The Houston County Sheriff's Office has charged Derrick Edmond Davis, a 23 year old male of Dothan, Al. as well as two juveniles, one 16 year old female and one 17 year old male of Taylor, Al. each one of the suspects were charged with three counts of Criminal Mischief 1st with a $5,000.00 bond for each charge.


 On August 6, 2014 the Houston County Sheriff's Office received reports of vandalism (spray painting) occurring at Rehobeth Elementary School and at Taylor Assembly of God Church.



On August 9, 2014 the Sheriff’s Office received reports of vandalism (spray painting) occurring at Rehobeth Baptist Church, Rehobeth High School, Taylor Baptist Church and a Mini Storage Facility.



On August 12, 2014 the Sheriff’s Office received reports of vandalism (spray painting) occurring at Taylor Recreation Park, and a neighboring Daycare.



The Houston County Sheriff's Office with the assistance of Taylor Police Department and the citizens of Houston County was able to close this case with the arrest of three suspects.



There may be additional charges related to this case our investigation will be on-going
