DOTHAN: At 10:58 AM... Dothan Fire and Dothan Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Denton Road at Adrain. Reports are two vehicle with heavy damage. One vehicle possibly on fire.

The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Dothan Police.

Battalion 1 has arrived on scene and confirmed possibly 2 patients and vehicles with heavy damage. Engine 9 is arriving on the scene.

The accident involved two vehicles. There were conflicting eye witness testimony as to the directions the vehicles were traveling. One witness said they were traveling the same direction and the gray car went to pass the red car when the accident occurred.

The other witness reported the gray car was traveling south on Denton Road and the red car north on Denton Road. The gray car apparently crossed the center line into the path of the red vehicle. The preliminary scene evidence indicates this is the way the vehicle occurred.

Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Fire transported two patients. Neither appeared to have life threatening injuries.

Dothan Police investigated the accident.
