HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple Fire units from Bay Springs and Wicksburg responded to a report of a structure fire at 111 Doc Road. The first unit on scene advised heavy smoke visible. Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance from Pilcher's. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment.
UPDATED @ 12: 30 PM
Dothan Fire has been dispatch for mutual aid due to the high winds, Engine 8 and Battaltion 2. Heavy Smoke is visible from West Main at Brannon Stand Road (hwy 605). Rickey is on the scene for RSN. Battalion 2 has arrived on the scene and is advising that the fire is knocked down and under control at this time.
