HOUSTON COUNTY: At 1:30 PM.... Multiple Fire units from Gordon, Lucy and Pansey responded to a report of a structure fire at 471 Leslie Street in Gordon.
The first unit on scene advised visible. Houston County Sheriff’s Office responded along with an ambulance from Ashford Rescue.
The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment blocking the road.

Firefighters have searched the entire home for the cause of the smoke. It turns out that the Town of Gordon is having smoke testing done to their sewer lines and this was the cause of the smoke.
