Fire fighters have been working for over an hour not to get control of a two story house with heavy fire and smoke boiling out the vents and now the roof. Firefighters first tried to fight the fire from the inside but had to evacuated the house when the roof started to comedown. The evacuation alarm was sounded and everyone got out safely. There are 5 engine companies, a truck company and all command staff are on the scene. The roads around the fire are closed due to hoses and equipment.

Fire fighters are not only battling the fire but the heat from their gear and outside temps.

Over thirty firefighters have been on scene for over 2 hours now trying to get a handle on this fire. The problem is the way the house is constructed and chopped up allowing the fire to be hidden and spread through the ceilings and sub floors. This make it difficult to find and put out all the fire. Firefighters are now starting to get a handle on the fire and are trying to get to all the hot spots.
