HOUSTON COUNTY:   A helicopter has crashed in Wicksburg. All persons on board are reported to be alive and well.

The crash site is on Highway 123, 3 miles South of Wicksburg School. Emergency units are on the scene as is Matt Boster.

The crew was not hurt, policy is if a helicopter strikes a object (in this case a bird) they are to set the chopper down safely as possible. That's just what they did, they found an open field set the chopper down. Another helicopter came and picked up the flight crew and left a gaurd to watch chopper until a machnic can come check the chopper, fix anything wrong with it and fly it back to base.
