COFFEE COUNTY: A man hunt is underway in Coffee County for an escaped convict. Reports are the male suspect escaped from a detention center. The suspect get away vehicle was spotted and law enforcement tried to stop the vehicle.


The vehicle took off and after a short pursuit the suspect bailed from the vehicle on County Road 137 and ran into a wooded area. Law enforcement have a perimeter set up and are waiting on air suspect.


We under stand that ALEA and the Coffee County Sheriff's office are doing the search.
