HOUSTON COUNTY:   For the second business day the Houston County Courthouse has been evacuated.

Employees of the courthouse have been ordered from the building on threats of explosive devices.

As I passed the courthouse employees and officials were in the parking lot. The same thing happened this past Friday.

Updated at 3:19 - Due to the late time of day, all of the courthouse employees have been allowed to leave for the day and the courthouse will remain closed. The search of the building for any explosive devices will continue.

We will update with any further information we receive.

Updated @ 3:34 PM  While were we told by someone outside the courthouse the employees had left, they are actually at Colby's Restaurant in downtown Dothan. Colby's has allowed the employees to wait inside the air conditioned building while the courthouse is checked.

This is the second threat againt the courthouse. This week is NOT criminal jury trials week. The threats are being investigated.
