DALE COUNTY - EMS units are rolling to a report of a over turned vehicle on US 231 North near the Twin Bridges. Rickey is rolling for RSN and will update.

the noth bound lanes at the twin bridges has been tuned into one of traffic heading in both directions due to the road bing closed in the area where the wreck is.

Air helicopter has just landed on the scene of this accident. One person is trapped in a SUV. Emergency crews from Ozark EMS, Ozark Fire, Newton Fire and other agencies are working to get the person free from the overturned SUV.

The southbound lanes of traffic are completely blocked.

The accident involved a northbound SUV that crossed over into the southbound lanes, striking a Ford Expedition before overturning. Reports from some eye witnesses on the scene the northbound SUV appeared to have blown a tire before crossing into the median and striling the Expedition.

Law Enforcement Officers from Dale County Sheriff Department and Newton Police, Pinckard Police and others are on the scene.

At this time the patient has not been removed from the wreckage and crews are still working to extricate

the victim has been removed from the vehicle and lifflighted to a local hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
