UPDATED at 3:55 PM- Motor Vehicle Crash with Entrapment in the 17000 block of Cottonwood Road

Cottonwood Fire, Cottonwood Rescue and Houston County Deputies are on scene of a  Motor Vehicle Crash with Entrapment in the 17000 block of Cottonwood Road. At least one person is  injured and will be taken to the hospital by ambulance. The area where the wreck is located is closed until all can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.

The driver was transported to a Dothan Hospital where she was pronounce dead shortly after her arrivel. The identy of the driver has not been released and we are withholding scene photos until next of kin has been notified.
