HENRY COUNTY:   3:23 PM.   Law Enforcement officers from Abbeville and Henry County were in a chase out Highway 27 from Abbeville towards Dale County line.

At or near Fellowship Baptist Church on Highway 27, about four miles inside Henry County the officers got the vehicle stopped.

There were shots fired. No officers are injured and suspect(S) are in custody.

Multiple agencies are on the scene. Matt Boster is rolling for RSN.

Henry County Sheriff Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on Hwy 27 in Abbeville. When the deputy turned on the blue lights the suspect vehicle took off. The case ended up in front of the Fellowship Baptist Church at Hwy 27 and County Road 32. 

The Abbeville Police used a "pit" maneuver to end the pursuit and both occupants were taken into custody. As of this time it is not clear why the suspect fled.

The male and female are being transported to the Henry County Jail on Multiple charges.
