BARBOUR COUNTY:   A suspect wanted out of Pasco County Florida has been the subject of a manhunt.

Agents from the United States Marshall Service, Barbour County Sheriff Department and K-9 Track Dogs from Ventress Prison have been conducting a search in Barbour County. The wanted suspect fled the courthouse in Pasco County Florida after conviction for Criminal Sexual Battery.

Law Enforcement Officers from the multiple agencies have been in the woods in Barbour County on Shelly Jackson Road area. There are reports there were two shots fired. Medical units are responding to the scene. UNCONFIRMED sources have indicated the suspect is shot and was possibly self inflicted as the foot chase and tracking was gaining on the suspect. Sources say the suspect is reported to be still alive.

We are attempting to find out additional information and will update.

UPDATED @2:50 PM

Confirmed reports are the suspect is being transported to a Dothan Hospital with two gunshot wounds. The man hunt has been called off.
