There is a reported wreck on US 231 near Ariton, Ariton Police, Ariton Fire and Ariton Rescue are all responding along with the Alabama State Troopers. Reports are there is entrapment. No more information is available at this time.

Reports are now coming in that a semi truck haul Sodium Chloride has over turned and US 231 both North and South Bound lanes are closed and traffic is being detoured around the wreck scene.
