An armed robbery has just occurred at Approved Cash Advance located near Fortner Street and the Ross Clark Circle.

Dothan Fire/Rescue has been dispatched to assist a store employee who is in a panicked state.

Update at 9:25: The suspect description has been given as a white male wearing a white shirt and blue pants last seen fleeing from the rear door. Dothan PD officers and Houston County deputies are at the scene.

Update at 9:33: Dothan PD has K-9 on the ground.

Updated at 9:35: Further suspect description is given as a dark complected male, possibly Hispanic or light complected black male carrying a red money bag.

Updated at 8:44: The red money bag has been recovered.
