UPDATED: BREAKING NEWS: Armed Robbery in Headland

Headland PD, Headland Rescue, and Henry County Sheriffs Deputies are on the scene of an armed robbery that just occured at Fred’s. Units are searching for the suspect at this time. Henry County K-9 is trying to find a scent trail.

UPDATE:

Reports are that a black male came up to an employee that was outside and forced them back into the store where the suspect bound all three employees with duct tape. The suspect got away with an undiclosed amount of cash and the security tapes. The suspect possibly had a vehicle waiting on Soloman Rd just west of Fred's.

Headland PD is investigating the robbery and already have a few leads that they are checking into them at this time.
