UPDATED: BREAKING NEWS: Bank Robbery Just Occured In Dothan

DOTHAN:   Dothan Communications has just dispatched an armed robbery of a bank, Regions Bank, 4080 West Main Street near Flowers Hospital.

Information is a white male, wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, red cap and blue jeans. Subject was last seen on foot leaving the bank. Subject is reported to have had a note, no weapon was seen.

Multiple Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies responding.

Dothan Police believe they have just caught the suspect behind the bank in a Gray Dodge truck. They are reporting suspect is in custody. They caught the suspect directly behind the bank at 160 Healthwest.

They do not have suspect in custody. The suspect is south bound going past 109 going approximately 80 to 100 mph. The suspect is now crossing the Florida state line.  They are one mile north of Cottondale and they are still about 90 mph.  Florida highway patrol has picked up pursuit.  They are still south bound 7 miles north of Alford traveling at 70 mph.

The suspect is still south bound passing round lake in excess of 100 mph.

Dale County air is in pursuit as well and are attempting to place spikes.  They have just passed over into Bay County.  Houston County, Dale County, Florida State and Jackson County are all in pursuit.

The suspect vehicle has wrecked in Bay County on Hightower Road. They have called for extrication equipment on the scene.

During the chase the suspect called Jackson County 911 and asked them why everyone was chasing him.  They told him to pull over and he kept going.

Aircraft is leaving the scene with the patient at this time.
