UPDATED: BREAKING NEWS: Grass Fire in Flat Creek

Flat Creek, AL: 34 Central has just dispatched Flat Creek Fire to a grass fire at 1126 Alford Road near Reese Road. The caller has advised that her neighbors trash fire pile has gotten out of hand. Flat Creek Fire is on time at this time extinguishing the fire. If any more information becomes available, I will update.

UPDATED: The fire did burn about 50 acres. The fire was contained by Flat Creek Fire. Firefighters did have a share time trying to control the fire with the wind blowing so hard.
