UPDATED @ 11:00: Geneva County Deputy Critically Injured In Accident

GENEVA COUNTY:   This morning aorund 4:30 AM a Geneva County Deputy was injured in an accident on Highway 52 near County Rod 65 intersection.

Reports are the accident involved the Deputy and his striking a tree. The weather was extremely bad and the vehicle is reported to have hydroplaned.

The Deputy was transported emergency to a Dothan Hospital. Reports are he is in serious condition.

 

UPDATED BY MARTY: Reports are the Geneva County Deputy is in stable condition at a Dothan Hospital. The patrol vehicle also snapped a telephone pole in half. The car is totaled and was towed to the Geneva County Sheriff's Office. Every one please stop and say a prayer for this deputy. I know him personally and he is an outstanding Deputy.

UPDATED @ 11:00: The Deputy that was involved in the accident early this morning is Geneva County Sheriff's Deputy Cole Mock. Deputy Cole Mock was transported to South East Alabama Medical Center in Dothan by Geneva Rescue Squad. There has been a prayer chain set up on Facebook for Deputy Cole Mock.  Please continue to pray for Deputy Cole Mock.
