Subject running on foot from Elba police.  Elba police officer attempted to stop a vehicle, when he stopped the vehicle the passenger ran. They have police units in the area searching for the suspect.  He is described as a black male 5'10 to 6' tall, 185 to 200 lbs, tshirt and blue jeans.

 

UPDATED By Marty: The officer that stopped the vehicle stayed with the vehicle because the driver did not run. He did not leave the driver. Another Elba Police Officer was in the area and started to search for the suspect. The incident took place on Putnam Street. The Elba Officer stopped and talked with a citizen on the street and the citizen stated that he saw the suspect, except with no shirt on.
