Updated: Long Time Dothan Resident Passes Away in an Enterprise Hospital

Yesterday afternoon; Tommy Trammell of Dothan, passed away at Enterprise Hospital. Tommy was 79 years old. Tommy worked as a mechanic and wrecker driver for Solomon Chevy for 50plus years. Tommy was an outstanding person and was type that he never met a stranger.


Complete funeral arrangements and a list of survivors will be announced by Holman-Headland Mortuaries & Cremations.

Funeral arrangements for Tommy Trammell are visitation Thursday 5-7pm at Holman Mortuary in Headland with funeral at 11am on Friday at chapel and burial at Garden of Memory.

Tommy Trammell my grandfather and I owe much thanks to the people of Solomon  chevrolet who were so good to him for so many years! He loved each and everyone of you! also Tommy Ferguson of Ferguson wrecker who was with him until the end and suPorted him and his ENTIRE family thru this very difficult time! Tommy was my grandaddy and we have been very blessed| the last 34 years! He was a good man he would give the shirt off his back to anybody He loved me and supported me thru some very difficult stages In my life he enjoyed his Nascar hunting and fishing so grandaddy wait on me at the pearly gates I'm coming as.soon as my time has ended! Know i have the Lord Jesus Christ on my side One day I will see u again and this time u won't have to struggle to breathe u will no longer b on oxygen and u can talk with me while grandma makes us an egg sandwich R.I.P.TOMMY TRAMMELL I LOVES YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING AND ALTHOUGH MY HEART ACHES FOR U HERE I WILL SEE U AGAIN!!!
